The socks had good support, and might be better for that purpose than for a diabetic. They were not very thick or soft. The diabetic friend I got them for said he was unlikely to wear them, and favored softer, thicker socks.

I purchased these socks for my husband who is a diabetic. He recently flew home from a business trip and had worn 'regular' socks all day during his flight. When he got home, his legs were so swollen it scared me! He said these are the best socks he's ever worn. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially those with diabetes.

What a wonderful Surprise!!! |
My Husband Loves these socks!!! They are wonderful!! They didn't shrink or fray when I washed them, nor did the elastic dissappear. He doesn't come home complaining about how his feet hurting, or being sweaty. These are the BEST diabetic socks we have ever had.
We had been looking for comfortable diabetic work socks for years and years. 2 or 3 Mos. ago I bought him 2 pairs of white simular socks at Walgreens, paying $9.99 per pair. He really liked them so I went back and bought the only other pair they had. His work desided work socks now had to be black. I looked hi and low, to no avail, the least expensive socks I could find within 35 miles were $11.95 per pair and we really couldn't afford that.
I was really synical when I found these socks for this wonderful price, but I ordered them anyway. I am so glad I did. They are everything advertised and more!!!

Hole in Toe |
My husband loves these socks, but I wish the toe part was a little stronger. Right away he wore a hole in one of the socks, but we are trying to keep his nails trimmed shorter for now. Other than that, the rest of the sock is so comfortable. We now have a huge bag of his old "regular" socks to freecycle as he'll never go back to wearing them!

Cut off Circulation |
I bought these because I thought they would not cut off the circulation in my legs, but they still have the tight elastic tops. I thought that diabetics shouldn't have tight bands because if their circulation problems. Can't you make socks without the tight band at the top?

Quality, but snug |
I bought these socks for my husband. The last brand we had bought were not quality made, and were actually short for a crew length and would not stay up aorund his ankles. Although he is not a diabetic, due to some vien issues with one leg, he wears this style sock hoping they will not hinder his circulation. The socks we received are USA quality. The only issue my husband is a little disapointed about is the fact that these socks are very snug at the top. My husband does not have stocky feet or ankles, and yet, he has to roll the top over a little. He said he doesn't mind however, since the socks are better quality than the ones he had. He says other than the tightness at the top of the cuff, he loves them. They are well made and are very comfortable to wear.

Tight Elastic at top |
The socks are great except for the reason I buy this type of sock. There is a tight elastic ban sown into the top of the sock that is much to tight for my leg and causes swelling above that line. Other socks like this that I have bought do not have any elastic ban sown in. Does this company have socks without the ban at the top? This is what I need.

I previously bought a package of "mixed" socks for my husband who is diabetic with very sensitive feet. He liked them so much he wanted to replace ALL his socks with this style and fit. Some of the worse socks I have ever purchased. They are rough and do not have much padding. The socks I was trying to replace were some older Thoro socks and my old Thoro socks are more comfortable then this new so called "Sole Pleasers". I guess into the garbage they go, becuase I will not wear the crap. Unless you guarantee your products and want to give me a refund. Same for the short socks I bought, so there is no reason for me to fill out the evaluation for those too, becuase the answer is the same.

Quality is a 5 star however comfort is only a 2 star because there is an elastic thread around the top that cuts into your leg

Just what we needed |
We ordered the socks for my husband. He has a real hard time to find socks wide enough at the top. These work fine.

Barefoot |
I am not diabetic but have some edema. These socks solved my problem. They are comfortable, do not sag and look like regular socks. I have changed all of my socks for these and even given some to relatives who love them too.

Great Deal |
I've worn these socks for about four years because of diabetes and they have been great. They have a nice relaxed feel, but always stay up which is a real plus. These socks are very comfortable and a real bargain when you buy in bulk. My only 'nit' is that the dark colors tend to fade a little after a few washes. I try to keep a few pairs 'stashed' in my drawer so they look good when I have to get dressed up. Overall, they are great socks for a great price, and the company delivers them incredibly fast.

Thick and comphy |
The socks are nice and thick on the bottom of the sock, and the elastic band on the top for the ankle is not real tight and they stay up. They will do better after a few wearings to strech them out to fit my foot.
