I have not worn them yet.I guess I didn't read that they are to be hand washed and drip dry. I live in apt w/out a patio, difficult to let drip dry, I just wanted socks that could go inthe machine and dryer.

Extra Heavy Slouch Sock |
Love them. They're like having a pair of leg warmers on which are great with cords in our cold winters. I thought I'd take the risk of ruining a pair and machine-washed and dried them and they did wonderfully.

"Slouch" portion of socks are thick and heavy, but foot portion is not, which is what I wanted to be extra thick, i.e., foot is the weight and thickness of a regular sock and is not reinforced at the toe and heel.

I love them, I ordered 6 pairs in different colors. They are hard to find anywhere, I even checked the mall and they didnt have them. Wish you had them in Steel Grey not the dark grey that I got but I will wear them.

The socks are what I expected, I do agree with a review I read -- the foot portion of the sock could be reinforced. The black and dark blue were true to the colors on the website. And I did wash them in my front load washer in a lingerie bag and hung them to dry and they came out good as new. I spent so much time searching for this style sock I purchased enough to last me a few years so I am glad they are such great quality.

BEST SOCKS EVER |
These are by far the BEST socks I have every had on my feet. I wear them year round. They stay put where ever put them, up or down. I have given away a lot of pairs just so my friends and family will try them. Everyone who has tried them has me order them some the next time I pace an order. Extra Heavy Slouch Socks |
I Love these socks and order them in lots of 12 a couple times a year. I only wish the bottoms were thicker. They tend to wear out too quickly but I love that I can wear them up to my knees and they keep my legs warm or I can wear them scrunched around my ankles. If only the bottoms were thicker they would be perfect!

Absolutely SUPER, FABULOUS socks |
I may be out of date, but I love slouch socks & they're hard to find anymore, so, when I found them in your selection I was absolutely delighted!! I was even more so when I got them because they're wonderful!! They feel great all of the time, but I like to call them my "kick off your shoes & relax socks!! I like the socks, but I don\'t like that fact that they were made in Pakistan. They are comfortable and in my circumstance they are a little short on my foot. I should have bought them slighter larger.

I've found that a few pairs of the socks (before wearing)have stray elastics and are not as reinforced on top as should be. I was much happier with X-Long which lasted 2 years. I doubt these will. I will not return because I really need them at this time. I ordered these because x-long went up in price $10!!!

LOVE 'EM. |
I bought these to wear to school and out in the town. I bought white, red, black, and blue and I love them! They are so comfortable and warm for winter, and despite being thick in the leg part, the foot section is thin enough to fit in your shoes. I bought some lace up boots recently, and wearing these socks with them make them so cute, especially when I roll down the flaps of my boots and you can see the sock. Adorable! Buy them, they're cheap right now!

These heavy weight slouch socks are great, much better than the thin version they offer here. It says to drip dry, but I accidentally put them in the dryer and they came out fine. I'm going to order more.

Charlotte Slouch Socks |
These are much warmer, which I needed for the cooler weather now in the Northeast. These heavier slouch socks also look much nicer with my leggings; they are up on my shin as the should be - not simply on my ankles. I believe they will wear better

The 80's called and they want their slouch socks. I go to the gym 3 days a week and I like to wear leggings with my new old-fashioned purple, pink or white slouch socks and sneakers. Makes my workout look cool!

BEST SOCKS EVER |
First I am a man. I love these socks,because I wear tall boots to work. These socks go up to my knees and never slip down into my boots.I wear a size 10.5 boot. I have got a lot of my friends wearing them now. They all so work great as a diabetic sock.because they are real stretchy, They are also 100 percent cotton.They even out last my a lot more expensive boot socks I used to wear. I highly recommend to anyone!!!!

I have only worn 1 pair and after I laundered them 1 sock had many lose threads coming out of the sock. Very disappointed. Hopefully my other 2 pair will not do that.

The best socks ever |
I used to be able to buy these roomy cotton slouch socks at Penney's, but they don't sell them anymore, to my knowledge. I was so happy to find these heavy cotton socks at socks4life. They are comfortable and warm and cushion my poor old sore feet. I buy them by the dozen. They'd last forever if I didn't have a bad puppy. (I just bought my second dozen.) Great price, especially when you buy them by the dozen. I'll be back!!

I see some others are wishing they could wash and dry their socks. I have been washing and drying mine for a year. They haven't faded or shrunk much, if at all. Maybe it depends on the color you buy, but washing and drying didn't hurt the black socks.

I'll Get More |
The foot portion of these socks is not as thick as I had hoped. In spite of that, I really like the socks. They are soft and roomy and comfortable. I may wear them more often as knee socks. After reading other reviews, I think I might have overlooked some critical laundering information. It is possible that they are not to be put in the dryer.
