Socks arrived in timely manner. There was a "rubber band" that did leave a deep mark around my leb at the top of the sock. I performed a " rubberbandectomy" and everything was ok. The socks seemed to have a "brittleness" that caused a sandpaper feel when they were removed. Maybe several washings will soften them.
