Sole Pleasers Men's Black Diabetic Quarter Socks - 3 Pairs
- Product Review (submitted on October 8, 2010):

I do not feel that these socks qualify as diabetic socks for two reasons: they are black, making it difficult for a diabetic with pheripheral neuropathy (senstitve feet) to know when they have a skin injury (e.g. blister, ulcer) that may be oozing or bleeding. Light-colored socks are always best. And they are mostly made of natural materials, which have a tendency to absorb moisture rather than wisking it away, thus creating a breeding ground for bacteria. If blisters are present, the bacteria could infect skin injuries the wearer is unaware of.
