The pile on these socks is too thin. When a company labels a sock \\\"crew\\\" I expect a heavier pile because crew socks are activewear and you want support, and absorption from sweat. Maybe if they had been labeled \\\"Crew Lite\\\" and sold as socks with a crew design but without the essential function. But they work as a decent summer sock with a crew look. (Posted on 11/8/08)
